Troublesome Terminations: Top 10 Strategies for Safe Terminations

Presented by Tim Keck, SafeHaven Security Group, Fayetteville, AR

August 8, 2023 | 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Whether you are the employer or the employee—no one relishes the termination process. As the boss, you not only bear the responsibility of delivering unwelcome news but also must uphold office morale. Fortunately, a more effective recruitment process, incorporating a well-crafted job posting, can significantly reduce the likelihood of encountering a hostile termination.

Join us in this workshop to gain valuable insights and practical strategies to safeguard your organization from termination risks posed by hostile employees. Together, we will explore proactive approaches that promote a positive work environment and foster healthy employee-employer relationships.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Identify a dozen warning signs of a situation that is on a path to violence.
  2. Learn the one mistake you must avoid that could open you and your company up to massive liability.
  3. Strategize 10 steps to ensure terms go as planned.
  4. Understand the only right way to respond to a threat.
