Successfully Leading & Engaging a Remote Workforce and Volunteer Leaders

Categories: Certification

Remote work life offers many advantages and can even be a differentiator to help attract, retain top talent and engage volunteer leaders.  Strong employee engagement, unified teams and effective collaboration among remote workers requires good leadership.  As leaders, it’s important to watch out for signs of how employees and volunteers are engaged and motivated when they are fatigued from being at home and missing the component of interacting with co-workers in this remote work life that is here today.  Or ensure that they feel connected to each other and the organization and the chapter with how often and when leadership is communicating to employees/volunteers what is happening and how we measure performance objectives to ensure that the employee/volunteer feels productivity and aligned to meet the goals of the organization.  This session will explore why remote work is here to stay and provide best practices for working and managing remotely.

Learning Objectives:
•          Learn and understand why remote or workflex is here to stay
•          Reinforce the steps/foundation to engaging and managing your remote workforce
•          Share Best Practices of what other companies/chapters are doing.
