February 13, 2024 | 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

I'm tired. You're tired. Day shift. Night shift. Long weeks. Short weekends. Fatigued. Tired. Exhausted.? Stephanie Dalfanzo has a question for you: are you rested?? Fatigue costs employers billions of dollars each year. The National Center for Biotechnology Information believes fatigue costs workplaces more than $136.4 billion a year. The National Library of Medicine estimates that reductions in productivity and motivation combined with health care costs associated with the treatment of fatigue-related issues to be $1,967 per employee. The issue is further complicated for workers who work outside the daytime routine. Many of these workers develop shift work disorder and other deprivation related syndromes.? In this workshop, Ms. Dalfanzo shares simple best practices and strategies that can be used immediately to calm stress and anxiety as well as reduce (or even eliminate) sleep issues. HR professionals will also learn how to spot workers who may be struggling and redirect them to a most restful time away from work and more attentive, productive time while on the clock. Participants will learn: How to get a DEEP and restful sleep, even if you've been tossing and turning for years.
How insomnia doesn't start when our head hits the pillow.
Simple bedtime routines to help you drift off to a peaceful night's sleep.
What to do if you wake up in the middle of the night.
What NOT to do if you wake up in the middle of the night.
