Alice Dendinger, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is a Human Resource Consultant, Coach and Certified Mediator. As a seasoned leader, Ms. Dendinger is skilled at linking HR initiatives and programs to the overall business goals and mission of an organization thus creating an increase in employee satisfaction and a positive impact to the bottom line. Her focus has been on performance management assisting the leaders, managers, supervisors, and direct reports at every level "work better together."
Clients of the Alice Dendinger Alliance Group have included both private and public, profit and non-profit within organizations focused on retail, state government, research and development, oil and chemical, educational, telecommunications, insurance, high tech and electrical utility. She is a sought after speaker and workshop facilitator within p professional groups and associations.
Alice is a Credentialed Mediator through the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association (TMCA) and is often called upon to mediate workplace disputes or provide training in conflict management for employees at all levels within an organization. She has helped hundreds of individuals' gain the tools and understanding necessary to deal with conflict.
In 2007 and 2008, Alice served as the State Director for the SHRM Texas State Council serving over 20,000 HR professionals throughout Texas and leading a team of over 85 council volunteers. Until 2010, Alice will serve as a very active Past State Director. She has contributed to the advancement of the HR profession in Austin as the 1999 AHRMA Chapter President and board member from 1995 to 2001.
As a board President or committee leader, Alice has served on the Dispute Resolution Board of Directors, Seton Northwest Community Advisory Committee, Downhome Ranch, People's Community Clinic, Leadership Austin and other local and statewide associations.
Alice has an undergraduate degree in Business Management and Marketing as well as a Masters in Communication. Additional education/certifications include: Coach University Graduate, Future Search Strategic Planning Facilitator, and DiSC Behavioral Analyst. Alice has continued education in communication, group facilitation, dialogue and deliberation, conflict management, team development, interpersonal skills, leadership development and 360° assessments.
