TOPIC: Moving Training Forward - Trends & Other Options
This presentation will cover how the way we work, live, and communicate has changed in the season of COVID. We will look at training trends and how Learning and Development departments as well as organizations are changing how they view training. We will look at how organizations are adjusting training modalities to have an overall greater impact on employee development.
Presentation Objectives:
- Understand employees conflicting work priorities.
- Describe training trends and various modalities for the best overall impact.
- Give employees opportunities to teach back.
- Utilizing already dedicated time to have training moments.
SPEAKER: Tesha Johnson, MPA, HR Consultant, Department of Veteran Affairs
Tesha Johnson started her federal career working for the Department of Defense in 1991. She has worked for the Department of Veteran Affairs since 1995. Since 2009 she has worked as an HR Consultant where she focuses on the design and delivery of critical human resources training for HR Specialists and Supervisors. She received her BS in Management from Park University in 2003 and her MA in Public Administration from Webster University in 2005. When she is not traveling for work, she is traveling for leisure which she hopes to get back to real soon and she is enjoys reading a good book.
