2019 Kaitlyn Reeves

Kaitlyn Reeves

Kaitlyn Reeves is a student and Residence Assistant at UCA. She is a Presidential Scholar and Dean’s list recipient, testifying to her cognitive level, self-motivation, and drive. It was said, “she is the epitome of a student who balances academics, leadership, and service.” In an effort to propel her towards her career goals of employment law, she recently took on a Legal Internship for the City Attorney. She also completed an HR Internship in banking where computer skills were sharpened and introduction to ADP was provided. She composed a training manual, as well as other company documents while in this role. Her flexibility and eagerness to learn allowed her to take on numerous roles for others during their absences. She acquired stress management and time management skills, as she stepped up to carry the workload of 3 other interns who departed. She quickly adapted to the professional world with confidence, competence, and a winning smile.

Kaitlyn is noted for having “a well-polished personality… skills in working with others, virtual communication and innovative thinking… And she has shown integrity… in all facets of her life.”

Kaitlyn’s focus in HR is apparent in her academic decisions and her service to this field - HR Club Officer, Team Captain for the 2019 ARSHRM Student Case Competition, 2018/2019 ARSHRM Student Volunteer, and 2018-2019 SHRM Student Member.  She is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Business Administration from UCA with a 3.84 GPA with plans to enter law school.
