Free I-9 and E-Verify Webinars

Categories: Education

Arkansas SHRM is pleased to announce that Dave Basham, who works in the Outreach Branch, Verification Division of the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services at Department of Homeland Security, is conducting three separate ‘free’ webinars in the month of June solely for ARSHRM members. The webinars are approved for one (1) hour HRCI General HR Credit.

By request of many who attended my presentations on the Form I-9 and/or E-Verify, at this year’s Arkansas SHRM HR Conference & Expo, Basham will cover these topics via webinars on the following dates:

  1. E-Verify on Thursday, June 5th at 1:00pm CST
  2. Form I-9 on Tuesday, June 10th at 10:00am CST
  3. Form I-9 & E-Verify (combination) on Thursday, June 26th at 10:00am CST

Basham says "I can ensure you’ll receive a lively, fully energized and information packed presentation that will include a host of items that even the most seasoned I-9 or E-Verify personnel are not aware of, such as, ‘when you CAN complete and I-9 on a new hire before they start working for pay’, ‘how you can find what companies are enrolled in E-Verify by employer name, city, state or zip code’, and ‘when will E-Verify tell you when an employee’s work authorizing docs are expiring’ and many more."

To participate, please use the information below to join the webinar. It is recommended that you login 15 minutes before it starts.
