2007 Outstanding Professional in Human Resources Recipient - Tara Mauk, PHR
Tara Mauk, PHR of the Hot Springs SHRM Chapter (WCASHRM), was the recipient of the 2007 Outstanding Professional of the Year Award presented at the 2007 Arkansas Human Resources Conference & Expo.
The purpose of the award is to recognize an individual that has shown outstanding service and has promoted the profession of Human Resources Management.
Tara has had an impressive career serving the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the human resources profession.
She served as a chapter president for three consecutive years and chaired the manager’s conference for two years with over 250 attendees generating a revenue of $9,000.
Under her leadership her chapter grew to over 100 members and received the Superior Merit Award from SHRM. She served on the Employment Law and Legislative Affairs Conference Planning Committee from 2003 through 2007, and she is the currently the president elect for the ARSHRM State Council, Inc.
