The recipient of the Arkansas Outstanding HR Professional of the Year for 2014 is Michael Smith, PHR. Michael's dedication to his profession, problem-solving abilities and commitment to service are a few of the qualities that have earned him this distinguished award.
The Jim Wilkins Lifetime Achievement Award winner for 2014 is Allen Williams, SPHR. With over 43 years in the human resource field, Jim has proven his dedication to the profession.
This year's recipient of the Best HR Practice Award goes to Youth Home. Their innovative ideas have kept the organization fresh and employees happy.
For 2014, the Friend of the HR Profession was awarded to Dave Basham. Dave has served as a speaker at two state conferences and has presented free webinars benefiting Arkansas SHRM members. Mr. Basham goes above and beyond our presentations and we are pleased to present him with this award.
