Conference participants are enjoying lunch and the Keynote topic for the lunch session entitled, "SHRM Public Policy Initiatives" which is being presented by Emily M. Dickens, J.D..
Ms.Dickens is the Corporate Secretary and Chief of Staff of SHRM. In this role, she oversees the Executive Office and coordination/orchestration of projects or commitments directly involving the CEO and his direct reports with primary focus on facilitation of the CEOs vision while enabling other members of the executive team to work together to expedite decision making. She is an excellent presenter and expert on public policy initiatives that SHRM determines to act upon as part of its role within the HR community.

Today's edition of this year's conference will conclude with Debra Finney sharing "What's New at EEOC."
Each of the topics in today's full line-up of informative sessions will be full of helpful information to better prepare HR Professionals to fulfill their responsibilities at work.
After the sessions end today, we encourage attendees to network with other HR Professionals over dinner or in one of the many networking areas provided for conference attendees to gather together. We hope that attendees will become re-aquainted with those you've met before, build stronger relationships with those you know well and meet new HR Professionals as you take time to learn at ELLA!
